19-րդ դարի վերջին և 20-րդ դարի սկիզբին աշխարհի բոլոր մասերի միջև ստեղծվեցին տնտեսական զանազան կապեր, ձևավորվեց համաշխարհային շուկան: Բացի տնտեսական գործոններից՝ միջազգային հարաբերությունների վրա սկսեցին ներազդել նաև տարբեր հասարակական շարժումներ և համաշխարհային կազմակերպություններ: Դրանցից հատկապես առանձնանում էր խաղաղության կողմնակիցների շարժումը: Նրանց անվանում էին պացիֆիստներ: Պացիֆիստները համոզված էին, որ խաղաղությունն այլընտրանք չունի, բոլոր հակամարտությունները պետք է լուծել բանակցությունների միջոցով: 1863 թ. ստեղծվեց Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային ընկերությունը: Այն խնդիր ուներ օգնելու պատերազմների և բնական աղետների ժամանակ տուժածներին: Կազմակերպությունը գործում է առ այսօր: Ժամանակի պետությունները նույնպես ձգտում էին իրենց հարաբերությունները կարգավորելու խաղաղության սկզբունքով: Սակայն փոխհամաձայնությունը և զիջումները միջազգային հարաբերություններում չդարձան գերակշռող: Հետագայում սահմանվեցին կանոններ պատերազմի համար, պետք է մարդասիրաբար վերաբերվեին վիրավորներին, չօգտագործեին թունավոր զենքեր և այլն:
The days in new school
Each of the day in new school can be different, especially first ones. In the school named after Mxitar Sebastaci is an interesting tradition: during acceptance in school, each of the students must go camping with their future school-wide friends. Comes along a club of girls and boys, who know each other only for two days, that goes hiking for three days in places around (or outskirts) of Armenia.
My first hike was in Shamshadin; Berd town, where we were welcomed by one of the teacher’s relatives. The way lasted from Sevan Lake to Tavush, from Tavush to Ajgedzor. On the way we visited monasteries, which stood in such landscapes, which’s beauty was hypnotising. It was Autumn; October – in my opinion Armenia’s most beautiful time: trees were golden, ground was wet and covered with leaves – red, green and even orange. But the most interesting were people, who we spoke, made jokes and ate with. When we got to the place, it turned out that our nightstand was a wooden house with basement, which’s doors were protected by a haunt dog.
Many things awaited us. Fulfilled by wonderful and incredible impressions, tired and not less hungry, but happy, getting home with already friends, we spoke about interesting stories, shot moments and it could happen — that even about musical preferences, books and talents that could differ. Nights passed by with games, that would interest, full of many information and nice people around. When going to sleep, young man and teacher would go to one room, and women with girls – to other, which, though, didn’t mean that “Respectful Gentleman” were asleep. Time by time, from one room to other were knocks on the door – requesting to calm our loudest laughter.
Unforgettable was the way back also: with pictures of us all, vows to meet up again.
When I went to school the next day, it seemed that I was somewhere familiar: friends were greeting each-other arms spread open, good-tempered teachers with brightest smiles came together at the Marble Hall to say their words.
I think, that this experience should be used in other schools of Armenia as well…
